I provide the following Public Safety and Police-Related Services:
- Pre-employment Psychological Screenings
- Professional Consultation
- Critical Incident Stress Interventions
- Mental Health-Related Instructional Services
- Law Enforcement and Firefighter-Related Psychotherapy
I provide Pre-employment Psychological Screenings, Operational Consultation, Treatment and Psychological Intervention to police and law enforcement agencies in accordance with Guidelines of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. I have more than 350 hours of training in Critical Incident Stress Management and Psychological First Aid. I have provided law enforcement-related training on topics such as: Cultural Diversity, Anger and Stress Management, Communication Strategies, Conflict Resolution, Critical Incidents, Suicide Prevention and Intervention, Police Relationships, Dealing with the Mentally Ill, Recognizing Abnormal Behavior, The Psychology of Driving, and The Adult Learner. My extensive experience in working with public safety personnel has afforded us the opportunity to have addressed a wide range of issues commonly encountered in these difficult and challenging positions.
I have provided services to the Lee County, Arkansas Sheriff's Department; the Marianna, Arkansas Police Department; the Dyersburg, Tennessee Police Department; the Dyer County, Tennessee Sheriff's Department; the Millington, Tennessee Police and Fire Departments; the Memphis and Shelby County Airport Police Department; the Shelby County, Tennessee Attorney General's Office; the Southwest Tennessee Community College Police Department, and the Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office, Green River, Wyoming.
